Sheik plays new hits at Rainbow Chevrolet

Michael O’Hara, also known as “The Sheik,” performed Thursday at Rainbow Chevrolet in LaPlace.

Steve Scaffidi filmed O’Hara interacting with customers and making up songs on the spot that were generated from suggestions shared Thursday by those at Rainbow.

O’Hara, a New Orleans resident, is a four-time Grammy Award nominee who wrote “Just Because” for Anita Baker.

One of the new songs he performed Thursday was “A man in a Chevy at Rainbow Chevrolet.”
