TPSO: 3 arrested for attempting to burglarize a business

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of three subjects following an overnight attempt to burglarize a Loranger business.
Chief Jimmy Travis reports that just after midnight on May 11, 2023, deputies responded to Rapture Firearms on Harvest Lane in Loranger after the business owner received security camera motion alerts on his mobile phone. According to the owner, he observed at least one person at the front door wearing a mask. Deputies responded to the scene and located three black males outside the business, along with a vehicle which was displaying a stolen license plate.
Upon questioning the subjects it was determined all three were also involved in a simple robbery which occurred just two days prior at the same location. In the first incident, the subjects reportedly distracted the clerk and stole two guns from the display case. At the time of their arrest, the two firearms in question have not been recovered.
The subjects were charged as follows:
Marquel Francewar (19 years old from Tickfaw, LA)

Zaiden Thompson (18 years old from Tickfaw, LA)

Johnell Hayes (23 years old from Tickfaw, LA)
