The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a double shooting that occurred on Gassen Street in Luling.

Both subjects sustained gunshot wounds to their leg and are being treated at a local area hospital for their injuries.

This is still an active investigation. A suspect that was believed to have been involved in the incident is in custody. Citizens are asked to avoid commuting on Gassen Street for the time being.
