EDGARD — Television filming is closing Louisiana 640 during parts of next week in Edgard.

With permission from the La. Department of Transportation and Development, Louisiana 640 between River Road and Louisiana 3127 in Edgard will be closed from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily Monday through Thursday for the filming of a television series. No through traffic will be allowed during this time.

Residents near the film location may also hear movie gunfire sound effects and loud noises during the filming and should not be alarmed.

Emergency responders, including the Office of Fire Services and Sheriff’s Office, are aware of the road closure and traffic impediments. Alternate plans for response have been developed.
