Vacherie — Reservations are now being taken for Oak Alley Plantation’s 30th Annual Christmas Bonfire Party to be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005.

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. and continue until midnight in the antebellum mansion and on the surrounding terrace and grounds.

In celebration of this very special occasion, the mansion and the grounds will be dressed in decorations of fresh fruit, greenery and seasonal floral arrangements, reminiscent of Creole Christmases past.

Admission is $100 per person. All proceeds will be used to assist in the continuing restoration of Oak Alley. The attire for the evening is holiday casual and warm.
