TAFT – Dow employees will celebrate Black History Month with an event held Thursday, February 19 beginning at 11 a.m. at the St. Charles Operations facility in Hahnville. Featured speaker for the event is Sally Ann Roberts, WWL-TV’s Morning Anchor.

The theme for the 2004 program is “African Americans Making History Today.” The celebration will also include dramatic and musical presentations from local schools. In addition, a special honor will be given to those African American employees and retirees who are active in the community. The event is coordinated through the site’s African American Diversity Network.
