LAPLACE — Entergy will open two mobile Customer Information Centers (CICs) in St. John the Baptist Parish Thursday morning. These are resource centers where customers can come ask questions about restoration information, get general bill help and more.

The locations for those CICs are listed below. Hours for both locations are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• East Bank: Walmart, 1616 W. Airline Hwy. Laplace, LA
• West Bank: Juan Anthony Memorial Park, 3445 Hwy 18, Edgard, LA

As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, 18,783 customers (95% of customers) remained without power in St. John the Baptist Parish. The estimated date for power restoration for most St. John Parish residents is Sept. 17. However, Entergy expects to begin powering critical facilities and other social infrastructure within the parish well in advance of this date.

Damage assessments  in St. John Parish have reported 2,269 poles broken, 2,208 spans of wire down and 373 damaged transformers.
