Photo feature: Viking Virtue students named

At St. Joan of Arc Catholic School, students earn “Viking Virtue” cards for exhibiting Christian virtues and for performing acts of kindness. They place the cards in one of three boxes on campus. Each week, three names are pulled, and those students earn a dress-down day, passes to the front of the lunch line with a friend and a snack at recess. Their parents are notified of their child’s honor by the principal. The winners for February are, from left, front, George Birdrow, Darren Tran, Jonathan Clement, middle, Blair Mitchell, Kennedi Miller, Christian Favorite, top, Julia Laiche, Edwin Funez and Kaylee Bossier.
