LAPLACE — Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) members and Alumni FCA leaders from St. Charles Catholic High School attended the 50th Annual Allstate Sugar Bowl Breakfast at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside.
Former New Orleans Saints Super Bowl champion Jabari Greer spoke to guests about the importance of never giving up despite whatever conditions one is given in life.
He focused on having courage, and his message was genuine and very well received by the FCA members.
Greer remained afterwards and signed autographs and took pictures with adoring patrons, including SCC high school student-athletes. Testimonies by players from both teams inspired the students.
St. Charles Catholic High School’s FCA group meets at 6 p.m. every Thursday under the direction of Coach Gary Zeringue. FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in the world.
FCA focuses on serving our school and community by equipping, empowering, and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.
