Stella Michel Roussel passed away on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018.

She was 88, a native of Convent and resident of Reserve.
She was the beloved wife of the late Nolan Joseph Roussel Sr.; mother of Nolan Joseph Roussel Jr. and David Paul Roussel; daughter of the late Sidonia Oubre Michel and Ulric Michel; and sister of Roger Michel, Margaret Dunham and the late Lilly Simoneaux, Lillian Davis, Arthur Michel, Raymond Michel, Ulric Michel Jr. and Rene Michel.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Norte Dame Hospice for their loving care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace on Monday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m.
Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 a.m.
Interment is in St. Peter Cemetery.
