Photo Feature: Childs earns first at science fair

- Jay Childs, a sixth grade student at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School, competed at the Regional Science Fair at Nicholls State University, where he placed first in materials science. His project was on finding the most effective whitening toothpaste. He qualified to present his project at the upcoming State Science Fair.
