Karen Dornier Stokes, a resident of Hammond, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at North Oaks Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 14, 1950, in Marshall, Texas and was 67.

She was a woman with a beautiful heart who loved her son and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Chad Hillstrom Sr. and wife, Jewelena; grandchildren Kymberly, Chad Jr., Cami Jo and Cameren; and two brothers and one sister, Felix Dornier III, and wife, Janet; Cynthia Ward and husband Michael and Gregory Dornier and wife, Cheryl.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Jr. and Ruth Dornier.

Visitation is at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19.

Memorial Services will be held at 7 p.m.

Internment will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at Saint Michael Cemetery and Mausoleum in Convent.
