Iris Boudreaux Rousse passed away on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at the age of 90.

She was a native and life-long resident of Reserve.

She was the beloved wife of the late Sidney J. Dufresne Sr. and the late Calvin A. Rousse; mother of Terry Dufresne, Sidney ‘Skip’ Dufresne Jr. (Gwen), Jill Lundin (Rick), Timmy Dufresne and Pat Dufresne; grandmother of Shane Arceneaux, Nicholas and Wendy Waren, Ashley, Rachael, Alex, Angie Pilgreen and Aimee Simon; daughter of the late Noah P. “Preacher” Boudreaux and Emma Ory Boudreaux; and sister of Paul Boudreaux (Danielle), Gail Castay (W.H.), Mary Duhe (the late Charles) and the late Donald Boudreaux (Aimee), Noah ‘Buddy’ Boudreaux Jr. (Eula), Ory Boudreaux (Bobbie), Beverly Keller (D.J., Jr.), Barbara Braud (Dayton) and the late Catherine Boudreaux and Dale John ‘Bubba’ Boudreaux (Coleen).

She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Highway 44 in Reserve, on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.

Visitation is at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Interment is in St. Peter Cemetery.
