Kenneth Louis Rassat passed peacefully at his residence on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the age of 56.

He was born in New Orleans and was a lifelong resident of LaPlace.

He was the beloved son of Arlen “Razz” J. Rassat and the late Lorraine Wilton Rassat; brother of Debra R. Melancon (Timmy) and Linda R. Landry (Mickey); and uncle of Brett Landry, Haley Melancon, Julie Melancon, Megan Landry and Wesley Melancon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St. in LaPlace on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 12:30 p.m.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

Inurnment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
