LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools leaders are inviting all local clergy and ministers to a noon Tuesday community lunch at Frenier Landing Restaurant and Oyster Bar in LaPlace.

“Every other month, we conduct and host a pastors meeting,” Superintendent Kevin George said.

“You will hear about what we’re doing at the School Board, but it also gives us an opportunity to hear back from the clergy in the community about what they feel is important from their constituents and congregations.”
