RESERVE — The 12th Annual St. John the Baptist Parish Veteran’s Luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 3 at REGALA Gym, 200 Regala Park Road in Reserve.

St. John has honored its local military members in the past by showing a video adorned with pictures of fallen service members.

This tradition will be shown at the luncheon, live on the Independence Day broadcast and on St. John’s website and Facebook page.

Residents are asked to assist with the video by submitting photos of local veterans and service members.

Photos in military uniforms are requested.

Black and white and color photos will also be accepted, but high resolution digital files are preferred. Original photos will also be accepted, but will become the property of St. John the Baptist Parish.

Please include the veteran’s name, rank and branch of the service with the photo, as well as the contact information and name of the family member submitting the photo.

If a photo was submitted in the last three years, it is not necessary to submit a new photo.

The deadline to submit pictures is 4 p.m. Friday.
