Photo feature: Retiring religion teachers saluted

- Ascension of Our Lord Principal Toni Ruiz presented flowers to two religion teachers who will be retiring this year. Catherine Abbate, left, served the school for 23 years, most recently as its elementary school religion teacher, and Kathleen Lambert-Oswald served AOL for 20 years as its middle school religion teacher. Both plan to spend more time with their families and grandchildren. Their years of service and spiritual guidance to Ascension of Our Lord School will be remembered.
Preschool Crusaders Paxton Wheelahan, Alana Rivers, Jaxon Plustache and Aubrey Melancon line up for their year-end program.
