JayQuan seen as DHS hero

JayQuan Terrell, a senior, was recently selected as the Destrehan High School Cox Inspirational Hero. Terrell is involved in the Culinary Arts Program at the St. Charles Parish Satellite Center. His desire to help others were the catalysts for his senior project of feeding a group of homeless people in New Orleans. He plans to continue his culinary training at Delgado Community College and his dream is to operate a food truck. Terrell is pictured with assistant principal David Schexnaydre and Principal Stephen Weber.
