William F. “Bill” Borne

William F. “Bill” Borne, 58, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Aug. 16, 2016.
William was a loving husband, proud father and a mentor to many. He was a true visionary with a “larger-than-life” presence. He was a very giving man.
He was the founder and former CEO of Amedysis, a national home health care company and continued to contribute to the betterment of the health care industry. His family will miss him dearly.
William is survived by his wife, Wendy Stabiler Borne; his children, Courtney Borne Scaff and husband Jordan, Hanna Borne Green and husband Brent, Jaci Ann Borne, and William Jacob Borne; and his siblings, Audrey Bossier and husband Joseph, Joan Clement and husband Kenneth, Lorraine Roussel and husband Robley, and Reynold Louis Borne Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reynold Louis Borne Sr. and Audrey Vicknair Borne; Matthew Joseph Bossier and Christen Elizabeth Clement.
Visitation will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd. in Baton Rouge on Friday, Aug. 19 from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge.
