RESERVE — Dollar Tree, a leading North American operator of discount variety stores, announced plans for a new store in Reserve.

“Dollar Tree continues to grow,” said Chelle Davis, Dollar Tree spokeswoman. “We are proud to be part of the Reserve community and are looking forward to our (Thursday) grand opening.”

Dollar Tree stores are open seven days a week, company officials say they offer a fast, fun and friendly shopping experience. The Reserve store is 8,710 square feet and will be located at 3919 W. Airline Highway.

A store of this size typically employs 12 to 20 associates, company officials said.
