Photo Feature:Michael Schaeffer named Deputy of the Month

- Crime Scene Investigations Deputy Michael Schaeffer, center, was recognized as Deputy of the Month by the St. John Business Association May 11 during the group’s meeting at Petra’s in LaPlace. Schaeffer was honored for his work in processing fingerprints that led to the arrest of three suspects in an armed robbery. With him are Sheriff Mike Tregre, Lt. James Brouwer, Captain Kirt Tregre and Steve Fraker of the St. John Business Association.
