Students celebrate First Communion

Students at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School and those in the parish’s school of religion, most of whom are in second grade, recently made their First Communion.
Hayden Williams, from left, Nathaly Villezcas, Kennedi Miller and Molly Brady wait patiently until the time for Mass arrived.
Their family members and friends celebrated the awesome experience with them.
The children had been preparing for the sacrament throughout the school year.
After Mass, all in attendance were invited to the Family Life Center for cake and punch.
