Kenner teenager identified as girl found dead in ditch

ST. ROSE — Authorities said the body of a female discovered Sunday in a St. Rose ditch is that of 16-year-old Jorian White.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office identified White in a release to news media at approximately 1:40 p.m. Monday after first announcing the discovery of the body Sunday evening.
Local authorities said they discovered the body at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday after the woman had been dumped on St. Rose Avenue in a ditch.
Police said White is from Kenner.
She was reported missing from Kenner at approximately 7:45 p.m. Friday. She was last seen in her Kenner home on Phoenix Street at approximately 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with the ongoing investigation into the death of Jorian White.
