Fans enjoy playoff fun

RESERVE — Virginia Byrd, mother of Riverside Academy boys basketball coach Timmy Byrd, may be the Rebels biggest fan.
Kassidy Watkins, 11 months, of LaPlace, and her mother Kiandre Bardell cheer on the Rebels.
She never misses a game, and Tuesday’s playoff contest against Lakeview was a great one to attend, because the home team won, 62-52.
Gameday included plenty of action off the court, Coretta Brown helped serves up nachos.
Riverside Academy’s cheerleaders also did their part to keep fans entertained by showing off their moves during the regional playoff game.
