LAPLACE — In an effort to assist those who have been impacted by the tornado, numerous sites and organizations have been set up throughout the Parish for resources.

Food, water, cleaning supplies and tarps are being distributed throughout the Parish at numerous locations. Donations including toiletries, yard equipment, water and tarps are being accepted at the St. John Community Center, 2900 U.S. 51 in LaPlace.

Donation Pick-up Locations: (Open from  7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday – Feb. 26)

Tarps, water, ice, cleaning supplies, care packages are available free to affected residents at the following locations:

Arcuri Center – 1020 Cambridge Dr., LaPlace

Ascension of our Lord Church – 1900 Greenwood Dr., LaPlace

Celebration Church – 3400 Hwy 51, LaPlace

LaPlace Elementary –  393 Greenwood Dr., LaPlace
