Laverne “Winky” Lambert, 62, was born on Sept. 21, 1951, and passed away on April 27, 2014. She was a native and resident of Convent.

She is survived by her siblings: Dale Lambert Sr. (Mary Anne), Merlyn St. Pierre (Bubbie), Sandra Roussel (R.J.) and Mary Champagne (Ralph), as well as three nephews, six nieces, 13 great nephews, eight great-nieces, and one great-great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Eusebe Lambert and Hilda Kliebert Lambert; a brother, Arthur Lambert (Ruth); a nephew, Dale Lambert Jr.; and a great-niece, Brandi Forsythe.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Convent, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
