LAPLACE – Special Olympics of St. John Parish will host a sports development clinic on April 5 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Regala Gym, 200 Regala Park Drive, in Reserve.

The clinic will be a place for people with intellectual disabilities to learn new

sports skills, improve individual sport performance, participate in individual and team sports and build friendships.

Sports targeted at the clinic will include horseshoes, basketball, volleyball and bocce ball.

Lunch will be provided for all participating athletes, and registration is required.
