AUBERT GRAMERCYShirley Mae “Ma-Me” Aubert, 73, a native and resident of Gramercy, died May 11. She was the wife of Harold J. Aubert and mother ofSherry Ann Burnett, Bernadine Lipps, Sharon Goff, Catherine Clayton, Carol Taylor and Veronica, Diana, Gary, Harold, Tim and Randy Paul Aubert.
She was also the daughter of Evella D. Johnson and the late Isaac JohnsonSr. and sister of Iona Segue, Julia Savates, Wanda Banks, Murrell Hattonand Odessa, Delores, Tites and Isaac Johnson Jr.
She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church,Gramercy, with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina. No wake.BRIGNAC PAULINALewis Joseph Brignac, 76, a native of Convent, former resident of St. Amant and resident of Lutcher, died May 11. He was the husband ofthe late Mary Rowena Guedry Brignac and father of Mona Moran, Deanna Roussel and Randy Brignac.
He was also the son of the late Winsley and Lillian Landry Brignac and brother of the late Richard Brignac.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Services were held May 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, withinterment at the church mausoleum.DUPLANTIS LULINGLouis “Dee” Duplantis, 70, a native of Algiers and a resident of Luling for 36 years, died May 12. He was the husband of Jewell FiegelDuplantis and father of Kathleen Moore and Craig Duplantis.
He was also the son of the late Louis and Agnes LeBlanc Duplantis and brother of Elaine Northington and Allen Duplantis.
He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Luling, withinterment at Garden of Memories. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.JOHNSTON LAPLACEAnne Doisher Johnston, 75, a native of Paris, Texas, and a resident of LaPlace for 30 years, died May 9. She was the wife of the lateCalvin Dewight Johnston, mother of Carl, Jimmie and Ed Doisher and step- mother of Linda Saber and Deborah Johnston.
She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was a retired employee of McKenzie’s Pastry Shoppe in LaPlace.
Services were held May 14 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.JOHNSTON LAPLACECalvin Dewight Johnston, 69, a native of Rayville and a resident of LaPlace for 30 years, died May 9. He was the husband of thelate Annie Doisher Johnston and father of Linda Saber and Deborah Johnston and step-father of Carl, Jimmie and Ed Doisher.
He is also survived by one brother, three sisters, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was a retired steamfitter.

Services were held May 13 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco, with interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Reserve.LUQUETTE CHACKBAYAlbert Paul Luquette Sr., 84, a native of Vacherie and aresident of Chackbay, died May 11. He was the husband by first marriage ofVictorine Clement Luquette and by second marriage of Mabel Hebert Luquette and father of Vickilynn Myers, Marilyn Robichaux, Mercedes Tabor, Albert Jr. and James, John and Vaughn Luquette and Lester, Joseph,Robert and Thomas Percle.
He was also the son of Numa and Corinne Oubre Luquette and brother of Florence Gravois and the late Lillian Ockman, Enilde Rodrigue, Edgar Oubre Jr., Gilbert and Icore Luquette and Blanche Oubre.He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 13 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Chackbay, with interment at the church cemetery.
MANCUSO METAIRIEMarion “Mae” Mancuso, 81, a resident of LaPlace, died May 9.
She was the wife of the late Peter Mancuso.
She was also the daughter of the late Joseph Farrell and Edna Ackermann Farrell Cavignac and sister of Eddie Farrell and the late Raymond Cavignac and Milton “Mickey,” Joseph and John Farrell.
Services were held May 12 in the chapel of Lamana-Panno-Fallo Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1.MORRISON NEW ORLEANSElouise Morrison, 73, a native of Wallace and a resident of New Orleans for 65 years, died May 11. She was the mother of AntoinetteEpps.
She was also the daughter of the late Evarice and Anna Dorest and sister of Octavia Bolden, Helen Mullen and Sidney Dorest.
She is also survived by one grandchild and nine great-grandchildren.

ROGERS METAIRIELorina Deeters Rogers, 91, a native of New Orleans and a resident of LaPlace for five years, died May 9. She was the sister ofMadeline Campagna and Albertha Bonin.

SPOSITO LAPLACEDolly Tobler Sposito, 70, a native of New Orleans and a resident of LaPlace for six years, died May 9. She was the wife of the lateRobert Sposito and mother of Debra Scanlan.
She was also the sister of Joyce Ferrara, Audrey McGraw, Fredrick and James Tobler and the late Rita Graffagnini, Rosemary McGee, Dolores Camus and Gourney, Malcolm, Anthony and Ellis Tobler.
She is also survived by one grandchild.
Services were held May 14 at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.VICTOR NEW SARPYTimothy “Tim” Victor, 45, a native and resident of Montz, died May 9.
