DEAR EDITOR: On Tuesday, April 27, I had the distinct pleasure of experiencing a delightful evening of music presented by the East St. John High Schoolconcert band. They and their director, Daryl White, are to be commendedfor their excellent performance.

It was such an enjoyable experience that I felt I had to let everyone know that we have extremely talented students here in the parish of whom we should be proud. They are the achievers and role models and they need oursupport and encouragement.

Congratulations, East St. John High band members and director!
