Manuel, Rice marry in Texas ceremony

BEAUMONT, Texas – Debra Kay Rice and Harold Edward Manuel III were united in marriage April 10 in Beaumont, with the Rev. Daniel Reidofficiating.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Brown Center in Orange, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Joella S. Rice of Beaumont. The groom is theson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold “Budd” Manuel Jr. of LaPlace.The bride’s dress was a hand-beaded, off-the-shoulder, candlelight Italian silky satin with heavy corded soutache embroidery and a basque waist with a semi-cathedral length train. Her bouquet consisted of hand-tiedwhite tulips.

The bridesmaids dresses were two-piece, moss green dupioni silk with floor-length straight skirts accented with rhinestone buttons.

The matron of honor was Kimberly Parsley of Beaumont. The bridesmaidswere Charla Urech of Katy, Texas, and Karen Simpson of Grapevine, Texas, both sisters of the bride.

Best man was Bryan C. Manuel of Baton Rouge, brother of the groom.Groomsmen were Harold Manuel Jr. of LaPlace, father of the groom, andDean Jeffrey Melancon Jr. of Metairie.The candlelighters were Arthur M. Urech III, nephew of the bride, andRebecca Jo Urech, niece of the bride.

Flowergirl was Selena Rodriquez of Dallas. Ring bearer was Logan Nelsonof Plano, Texas.

Ushers were Michael Beman and Shawn Edwards of Dallas.

Following the wedding, the couple took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii.Back to Top
