“I am really proud of this football team,” Lutcher coach Tim Detillier said.
“We overcame a lot against a good football team. The kids kept sluggingaway. I am proud of the effort by the staff and the players. They had themprepared and the kids really executed.”Ricks continues to be one of the top quarterbacks in the area, completing 32 of 66 passes for 535 yards and five touchdowns. “It’s always been a good game,” Detillier said.
With his team a little beat up after the win against Walker, the physical Mustangs are a concern for Detillier. The Mustangscommitted four turnovers in the game with the only highlight a 30-yard touchdown pass from Herbert Washington to Jamall Fletcher.
