EULESS, Texas – The St. Charles Parish 15-16-year-old All-Stars fell toGeorgia, 6-5, in the finals of the Dixie Pre-Major World Series Thursday night.

The All-Stars had advanced to the finals with a 14-4 victory over Alabama Wednesday.

St. Charles defeated South Carolina, 6-4, in the tournament Tuesday. The All-Stars opened the tournament with a 16-4 victory over Tennessee before falling to Georgia, 9-0.

Team members were Marty Boudreaux, Matt Caire, Brian DeJean, Scott Dunlap, Doug Friloux, Andre Gros, Keith Grubbs, Max Halder, Jonny Juneau, Daniel Luquet, Larry Matherne, Ronnie Petit, Scott Simon, Lee Tregre and Jeff Williams.

The team was coached by Brian DeJean. He was assisted by Scott Dunlapand Larry Matherne.
