LAPLACE — River Region Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Chassity McComack and Chairman Nathan Stein held a ribbon cutting ceremony April 17 to celebrate the new location of the Chamber’s office — 390 Belle Terre Blvd. in LaPlace.
The new 2800 square-foot facility essentially leaves room for growth — evident through its expansive office suite, kitchen area, business resource center, multi-media training room, conference room and meeting rooms.
Upon approaching its 11th anniversary, Chamber officials credit the new office as a sign of progression and also one that serves as a centralized location between the three River Parishes.
“Our new office is something to be proud of and will help to further grow, strengthen and unify the businesses in the River Region for many years to come,” McComack said.
Stein touted the location as a permanent home.

St. John the Baptist Parish President Natalie Robottom said the River Region Chamber is an integral partner in the parish’s economic development efforts and an important voice in the community.
“It is a shining example of success through partnership and collaboration,” she said. “On behalf of St. John Parish officials, I congratulate the Chamber and its leadership staff on this important milestone and we look forward to continuing to work together in the future.”
