ADAMS DONALDSONVILLEFlorestine Adams, 100, a native and resident of St.

James Parish, died March 25. She was the wife of the late Charles Adams.She was also the daughter of the late Elfair and Sedonia Mitchell and the sister of Phelonise Smith and the late Joseph, Andrew, Leon and Victoran Mitchell.

Memorial services are today at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, St.James.

FLEMING BATON ROUGEJuanita Douglas Fleming, 59, a native of Reserve and resident of Baton Rouge for the past five years, died March 25. She was the wife ofthe late Andrew Fleming Sr. and the mother of Ophelia Ottison, Andrew Jr.,Dywanda, Eugene, Michael, Melinda, Michelle and Coy Fleming and the late Deno Douglas.

She was also the daughter of Sarah Douglas and the sister of Josephine Davis.

She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Rescue Mission Baptist Church, Reserve,with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Reserve. Visitation begins at 10a.m.

HAMILTON NEW SARPYWill Henry Hamilton Sr., 58, a native of Centreville, Miss., andresident of New Sarpy for the past 40 years, died March 27. He was thehusband of Naomi Baptiste Hamilton and the father of Will H. Hamilton Jr. andTracey and Anita Hamilton.

He was also the son of Calline and Robert Moody, brother of Dan Moody and the late Robert Moody and stepbrother of Adline Davis, Jessie Otkins, Margaret Summrall and Leroy Moody.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services were held March 31 at House of Prayer Baptist Church, New Sarpy, with interment in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery.

HOTARD NORCORichard R. Hotard, 73, a native and resident of Norco, died March27. He was the father of Noelie McNeil, Ellen Matherne, Joan Begley, MerylSchexnaydre, Paige Feigenbaum and Richard Jr., John, Thomas and MayHotard.

He was also the son of the late W.P. and Agnes Hotard and brother of MaryHolmes, Dorothy Burks, Norwood and Warren Hotard and the late Francis Hotard and Ruth Laine.

He is survived by 17 granchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held March 29 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco, with entombment at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.

HUGHES ALGIERSLarraine Marie Jackson Hughes, 55, a native of Vacherie and resident of Algiers for many years, died March 27. She was the wife of JerryHughes and the mother of Renise Arties.

She was also the dauther of the late Lawrence and Gertrude Jackson and sister of Lawrence and Obie Jackson, Janice Pruitt, Paulette Felo, Marsha Green and the late Jessie Arties.

She is also survived by one grandchild.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Baptist Church, Algiers, withinterment at Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale. Visitation begins at 8 a.m.

PONDS BATON ROUGEThe Rev. Isaac Ponds, 72, a native of Lutcher and resident ofBaton Rouge, died March 26. He was the husband of Gertie Ponds and fatherof Martha Moss, Dianne Cosey, Geraldine Ponds, Robert and Michael Ponds, Curtis Johnson and the late Isaac Ponds Jr.

He was the son of the late Washington and Alma Webster and brother of Doretha, Josephine, Andre, the Rev. Andrew, Leonard, Leroy, Jerry andWashington Webster and Ruth Ann Keys.

He is survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He waspreceded in death by two grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at the Fourth District Missionary BaptistAssociation, Baton Rouge, with interment in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.

SUTTON NEW ORLEANSIsadore T. Sutton Jr., 28, a native of Kenner and resident ofDestrehan and St. Rose, died March 27. He was the fiance of April Jacksonand the father of Isadore Sutton III, Deja Hawkins-Sutton and Arielle Jasmine Sutton.

He was also the son of Isadore Sutton Sr. and the late Deloria Hutchinson-Sutton and the brother of Derick Outly and Brooke Sutton.

He is also survived by his grandmothers, Myrtle Vincent and Edith Sutton, and stepgrandmother Anna Hutchinson.

Services are today at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, St. Rose, withinterment at Jefferson Memorial Garden Cemetery, St. Rose. Visitationbegins at 12:30 p.m.
