CAILLOUET DESTREHAN – Ludivine Gauthreaux Caillouet, 76, a native and resident of St.

Rose, died July 19. She was the mother of Paulette Zeringue and MelanieTramonte.

She was also the daughter of the late Joseph and Ludvine Millet Gauthreaux and sister of Doris Womer, Beverly Moore, Madeline Dufor and Alvin, Donald and the late Percy Gauthreaux.

She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services were July 20 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan,with interment at the church cemetery.

CANTRELLE METAIRIE – Gerald F. Cantrelle, 73, a native of Lutcher and resident ofMetairie for 40 years, died July 16. He was the husband of Gene TheresaCantrelle and father of Stephen and David Cantrelle.

He was also the son of the late Fortune and Odile Gabb Cantrelle and brother of Warren and Maurice Cantrelle and the late Marie Tidyman.

He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Services were July 21 in the chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.

FOLSE DES ALLEMANDS – Pauline Fonseca Folse, 84, a native of Gheens and resident of Des Allemands, died July 19. She was the wife of the late Alexie J. Folseand mother of Daniel, David and the late Stanley Folse.

She was also the daughter of the late Alidore and Armantine Plaisance Fonseca and sister of Adele Colbert and the late Adelene Folse, Melodia Thibodeaux, Alida Loupe, Victoria Rogers and Alidore, Ernest, Gillis, Jules, Telese, Roy and Joe Fonseca.

She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren.

Services were July 21 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, withinterment at the church cemetery.

MADERE LAPLACE – Lawrence “Penoke” Madere Jr., 74, a native and resident ofLaPlace, died July 18. He was the husband of Leda “Mitsy” Cassagne Madereand father of Belinda Millet.

He was also the son of the late Lawrence Sr. and Anita Madere and brotherof Hazel Dottolo, Pearl Hymel and the late Earl “Neg” Madere.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services were July 21 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, withinterment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

PEEL NORCO – Mac D. Peel, 75, a native of Winnsboro and resident of Norco for 20years, died July 18. He was the husband of Essie Pearl Gomez Peel andstepfather of Brenda and Wallace Marroy.

He was also the son of the late Dan and Sue Peel and brother of Goldie Franklin, Suda Smith and the late Rebecca Loflin, Barbara Garnet and Miller Peel.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services were July 21 in the chapel of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Norco,with interment at St. Charles Borromeo mausoleum, Destrehan.

RICHARDSON ST. JAMES – Margie Mae Richardson, a native and resident of St. James, diedJuly 15. She was the husband of Milton Richardson and mother of Raymondand Kenneth Richardson.

She was also the daughter of the late Jack and Mammie Fields Harris and sister of Thelma Poche, Rose Mary Jones, Irene Scioneaux and George, Ronald and Leroy Harris.

She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were July 21 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, St. James, withinterment at the church cemetery.

RUSH TALLULAH – Raymond John Rush, 57, a native of Warren, Ohio, resident of LaPlace for many years and resident of Tallulah for the past five years, died July 16. He was the brother of Gerald Rush.He was a staff psychologist at Tallulah Correctional Institute. He was also aNavy veterans and was awarded the Air Medal, Gold Star and Vietnam Service Medal.

There were no services.

STEIN RESERVE – Cecile S. Stein, 86, a native of Vacherie and resident of Reservefor 56 years, died July 20. She was the wife of the late Michael Stein andmother of Gloria Aucoin, Marilyn Johnson and Ronald and Daniel Stein.

She was also the daughter of Didier and Victorine Stein and sister of Nelva LeBlanc, Paul Stein, Bernadette, Josephine and Eugenia Becnel and the late Annette and Edna Rome, Sidonie Folse and Stella, Laura and Clarence Stein.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, withinterment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 8:30 a.m.

WEBER MARRERO – Valerie Ann Weber, 49, a native of Vacherie and resident of Marrero for 32 years, died July 14. She was the mother of Khaira Weber. She was also the daughter of Theresa Philip Weber and sister of Carolyn Freeman, Joyce Bartholomew and Bernadette, Gretchen, Ralph Jr., Gerard,David, George and Dameon Weber.

Services were July 18 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Marrero,with interment at Restlawn Park Cemetery.

WHITE NEW ORLEANS – Leona G. White, 86, a native of LaPlace and resident of NewOrleans, died July 15. She was the wife of Alcide White, mother of Virginia”Jim” White and stepmother of Shirley Sutton.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Second Zion Baptist Church, New Orleans,with interment at Providence Memorial Park. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
