LAPLACE – St. Charles Catholic struggled and lost again to E.D. White, 6-5 Thursday. E.D. White came from behind in the eight inning and held on to their lead when St. Charles had what would have been their winning runs on second and third base. This was the second game St. Charles lost to E.D. White, being only one run behind. Though St. Charles Coach Paul Waguespack was frustrated with the loss “we are close, so close,” he said. St. Charles had six errors in the game. Jason Waguespack pitched the majority of the game with seven innings, three hits, four runs two of which were earned, threw 124 pitches and struck out eight. Mike Mustian went 3-for-4 to lead St. Charles at bat. St. Charles moves to 9-14, 4-4.
