Five more locals commit; National Signing Day today
BOUTTE – Five more commitments over the past week brought the number of local athletes commiting to 11 in the final days of the recruiting period. National Signing Day is today. Hahnville’s Aaron Alexander committed to the United States Military Academy. Alexander was an all-District 7-5A selection in 2000 after helping the Tigers to the district championship and an appearance in the state regionals with an 11-1 record. He played both wide receiver and tight end in his prep career. Dale Lirette becomes the second Hahnville player to commit to Louisiana-Monroe this season, joining defensive lineman Lloyd Brimmer.
