BOURGEOIS

PAULINA – Herman Joseph Bourgeois, 63, a native of Remy and resident of Paulina, died Nov. 15. He was the son of the late Buell and Viola Deslatte Bourgeois and brother of Elaine Forsythe and Theresa, Robert, Herbert and the late Rose Mae, Marie and Ernest Bourgeois.

He was the grandchild of the late Dennis and Regina Schexnayder and Joseph and Alinerva Schexnayder Deslatte.

Services were Nov. 19 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at the church cemetery.

BUSH

MARRERO – Stanley Bush Sr., 86, a native of St. James and resident of gretna for 79 years, died Nov. 15. He was the husband of Arkansas Martin Bush and father of Brenda Lloyd, Nedra Davis and Yvette and Stanley Bush Jr.

He was the brother of Geraldine Aaron and Jessie Barkins.

He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at True Hope Ministries International, Marrero, with interment at Restlawn Park, Avondale. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.

CANTILLO

PAULINA – Victor Andreu Cantillo, 66, a native of New Orleans and resident of Paulina, died Nov. 17. He was the husband of Janet Poche Cantillo and father of Vicki Poche, Lucy Shular and Jan, Andrew, Blaine, Dwaine and Anthony Cantillo.

He was the son of the late Anthony and Lucy Mancuso Cantillo and brother of Mary Ann Brady and Anthony, Lebo, Rocky and the late James Cantillo.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a pipefitter.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.

CARLOS

NEW ORLEANS – Thelma Maney Carlos, 77, a native of Convent, former resident of Los Angeles for 46 years, and resident of Jefferson, died Nov. 13. She was the wife of the late Emmanuel Carlos.

She was the daughter of the late Paul and Alice Maney and sister of George, Dorothy and Melvin Maney and the late Eunice Laboue, Eulia Schmidt and Paul Jr. and John Maney Sr.

Services were Nov. 18 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, New Orleans, with interment at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.

DEROCHE

GRAMERCY – Earl J. Deroche, 82, a resident of Gramercy, died Nov. 15. He was the husband of Pansy Fitzgerald Deroche and father of Donald, Earl Jr. and Derrel Deroche.

He was the son of the late Hamilton and Aline Blank Deroche and brother of Mary Roussel and Hamilton “Bobby,” Russell, Curtis and the late Allen and Gerald Deroche.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, where he served as a pilot. He was instrumental in the incorporation of the Town of Gramercy and served as its first and third mayor. He was active in the American Gloxinia and Gesneriad Society and served as a national board member.

Services were Nov. 18 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Gramercy.

DUFRENE

HOUMA – Nina Bell Dufrene, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died Nov. 15.

She was the daughter of Elizabeth Dufrene and the late Mitchell Dufrene and sister of Sarah Hebert and Marion and the late Ranzel Dufrene.

Services were Nov. 18 in the chapel of Samart Funeral Home, Houma, with interment at Rogers Cemetery.

LaCAZE

SOUTH VACHERIE – Grady Lee LaCaze, 73, a native of Centreville, Miss., and resident of South Vacherie, died Nov. 14. He was the husband of Antoinette Serio LaCaze and father of Mary Ann Boutillette and Martin, Robert and Michael LaCaze.

He was the son of the late Louis and Lessie Johnnet LaCaze and brother of Frances Marino, Catherine Kay, J.P. and Dudley LaCaze and the late Josephine Robertson and Joseph and Elmer LaCaze.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 18 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, South Vacherie, with interment at the church cemetery.

LAMBERT

NEW ORLEANS – Stanley Lambert Jr., 64, a native of New Orleans and resident of New Sarpy for 19 years, died Nov. 17. He was the brother of Gwendolyn White, Geraldine Cato, Evelyn Allen, Gladys Levy, Elaine White, Jocelyn Keys and William Lambert Sr.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church, New Orleans, with interment at Providence Memorial Park. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.

PERRILLOUX

RESERVE – Bryant Joseph “Hicky Head” Perrilloux, 20, a native and resident of Reserve, died Nov. 13. He was the son of Curtis Perrilloux Sr. and Elva Cook Perrilloux; stepson of Anita Perrilloux; brother of Danielle and Curtis Perrilloux Jr.; and stepbrother of Chrisell Henry, Sharnel Reid, Reynett Lennex and Lowery, Andre, Raynell and Roslyn Joseph.

He was the grandson of Geraldine and the late Wilfred Perrilloux and Albert and Mattrie Cook.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Reserve, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.

TRICHE

DESTREHAN – Irma Troxclair Triche, 88, a native of Mt. Airy and lifelong resident of New Sarpy, died Nov. 16.

She was the wife of the late Edward Triche and mother of Beryl Minvielle, Sylvia Maurin and Larry Triche.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 18 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment at the church mausoleum.

WILSON

BOUTTE – Joyce J. Wilson, 59, a native of Paradis and resident of Hahnville, died Nov. 15.

She was the former wife of Charles C. Wilson Jr. and mother of Danna Howard and Tuesday, Turell and Tracy Wilson.

She was the daughter of the late Mary Sumler and sister of Willie Williams, Brenda Pierre and the late Bobby Williams.

She is also survived by six grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 19 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, Boutte, with interment at Shell Mound Cemetery, Des Allemands.
