DINVAUT

EDGARD – Fernand N. “Kiddo” “Big Daddy” Dinvaut Jr., 93, a native and resident of Edgard, died Jan. 11. He was the husband of the late Luella Bailey Dinvaut and father of Rosemary Sorapuru, Jacqueline Rousseve, Beverly Harris and Rudolph, Fernand III and the late Mullin Dinvaut.

He was the son of the late Fernand Sr. and Alice Moll Dinvaut and brother of Franceline Bordenave, Margaret Darensbourg, Theresa Hicklin, Glorian Allain and the late Pearl Becnel, Alice Banderas, Eleanora Biagas, Ruth Duronslet and Newton, Rupert Sr. and Joseph Dinvaut.

He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.

GARIBALDI

LAPLACE – Augustin Garibaldi Sr., 91, a native of Ama and resident of New Orleans for 88 years, died Jan. 9. He was the husband of Marie Brule Garibaldi and father of Alfreda Leonetti, Debra Shropshire and Antoine, Christopher, Arnold, Amadee, Alvin and the late Agnes and Augustin Garibaldi Jr.

He was the son of the late Jules and Mathilde Augustin Garibaldi.

He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was a retired longshoreman, Pullman porter and barber.

Services were Jan. 14 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, New Orleans, with interment at St. Louis Cemetery, No. 3, New Orleans.

GAUTREAUX

RESERVE – Pearl Cambre Gautreaux, 75, a native and resident of Reserve, died Jan. 10. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Gautreaux and mother of Jude Gautreaux.

She was the sister of Lucien Jr., Joseph, Maurice and the late Edward and Parker Cambre.

She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 14 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment at the church cemetery.

MIGLIORE

LAPLACE – Joseph S. Migliore Jr., 81, a native of Tickfaw and resident of LaPlace, died Jan. 11. He was the former husband of Georgina Hebert Migliore and father of Mathilda Miller, Victoria Landry, Josephine Coakley, Jeanine Brock and Joseph III, George and Daniel Migliore.

He was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Josephine Fedele Migliore and brother of Vincent and Frank Migliore Sr. and the late Francis Giarrantano, Victoria Luppo, John Bazile and Joseph, Sarah, Anthony and Sam Migliore.

He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He played the clarinet for the Jefferson Community Band.

Services are today at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace. Visitation starts at 8:30 a.m.

PARNELL

LUTCHER – Royal “Butch” Parnell Jr., 50, a native of Lutcher and resident of Gonzales, died Jan. 7. He was the husband of Ada McCoy Parnell and father of Shanette Esko, DeAndre Scott, Kimberly Gray; Trenea, Stacey, James Jr. and Dustyn Davis; Royal III, Andrew and Jordan Parnell; and Tracy, Charlie Jr. and Stacey Parker.

He was the son of Royal Sr. and Blanche Williams Parnell and brother of Joanne Fernandez, Delores Boudreaux and Mattie, Raymond, Mel and Bruce Parnell.

He is also survived by 21 grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 14 at King Solomon Baptist Church, Lutcher, with interment at Western Cemetery, Lutcher.
