Director, Rochelle Touchard, and Co-Director, Melissa Martindale, are preparing for the 2004 Louisiana. Catfish Baby and Youth Pageant. This year’s theme is “Rays of Sunshine”.

The 2004 Louisiana Catfish Baby and Youth Pageant will be held Saturday, May 15 at the Father Mac Community Building in Des Allemands. A $50 entry fee is required at the time of registration and the age categories include: girls 0-11 months continuing to 7-9 year olds and boys 0-11 months continuing to 2-4 year olds. Contestants will be judged and selected based on stage presentation, personality, overall appearance and outfit. Each category will announce a king/queen, first, second and third runner-up along with specialty awards. There will also be a “most photogenic” competition that participants may enter for an additional $5 entry fee.

The deadline to enter the Baby & Youth Pageant is April 30th. NO EXCEPTIONS. Admission into the pageant will be $3 for adults and $1 for children. All are invited.

Also, mark your calendar for the 2004 La. Catfish Festival Queens’ Pageant which will be held on June 26th at 7 p.m. at the Hahnville High School Auditorium.
