LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

€ Michael Becnel, 56, 141 Oubre Ct., Edgard; aggravated second-degree battery.

€ Elmo Cook, 34, 257 Homewood Pl., Reserve; two charges of contempt of court.

€ Arthur Brown III, 18, 3116 Pinehurst St., LaPlace; simple battery, and disturbing the peace/fighting

.€ Timothy Larkin, 18, 354 Opal Bennett Road, LaPlace, criminal trespass and attempted simple burglary.

€Trista Pullen, 26, 402 Sycamore, LaPlace, shoplifting of items valued at less than $100.

€ Vera Trepagnier, 46, 601 Fairway, LaPlace, probation violation and contempt of court.

€ Loyd Allen, 56, 207 Bedford St., obstruction of justice.

€ Kevin Ponthieux, 44, 382 Fairway Drive, LaPlace, disturbing the peace by being intoxicated and criminal mischief.

€Linda Guarino, 49, 1716 Bayonne Drive, DWI second offense, vehicle turning left at an intersection and resisting an officer through violence.

HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg C. Champagne reported the following recent arrests:

€ Roland Ricca, 49, 114 Thoroughbred Lane, Montz, DWI and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

€ Zachary P. Chatelain, 26, 8 Mary St., Norco, DWI and following too closely.

CONVENT – St. James Parish Sheriff Willy Martin, Jr. reported the following activity during the week of Feb. 2 – 8: a total of 218 complaints, including 81 in Lutcher-Gramercy; 60 in Convent, 13 in Paulina; 23 in St. James; and 41 in Vacherie.

The following arrests were reported:

€ Brett Trosclair, 39, 326 N. Montz Ave., Gramercy; fugitive for Jefferson Parish, Fugitive for Ascension Police Dept.

€ Charlene Scott, 40, 2382 N. Albert St., Lutcher; bench warrant (failure to appear).

€ Larry Scott, 48, 2362 N. Albert St., Lutcher; bench warrant (failure to appear).

€ Wilson Favorite, Jr., 55, 7104 Edward Road, St. James; bench warrants.

€ Terry Isom, 35, 108 Dove St., LaPlace; being a fugitive from another agency.

€ Damon Smith, 33, 106 Byrd Lane, Hahnville; driving under suspension, speeding.

€ Nolan Waguespack, 23, 228 Pecan Lane, Gramercy; bench warrant.

€ Cameron Burnett, 39, 284 S. Airline Ave., Gramercy; theft.

€ Travis Manuel, 24, 2379 E. Lebray St., Lutcher; bench warrant.

€ Justin Becnel, 19, 176 W. 17th St., Reserve; telephone harassment, simple assault.

€ Daniel Stout, 54, 3382 River Road, Reserve; bench warrant.

€ Jason Blair, 27, 39460 Hwy. 74, Gonzales; being a fugitive from another agency.

€ Lyndell Adams, Sr., 32, 1224 St. Charles St., Thibodaux; driving under suspension, failure to yield, safety belt use, being a fugitive from another agency.

€ Lloyd Johnson III, 24, 6809 Hwy. 308, Belle Rose; attempted second-degree murder.
