LAPLACE – Roussel’s Antiques, Gifts and Jewelry recently won the 2004 Designers of Louisiana award for a piece of jewelry handcrafted by two of its master craftsmen.

Master Craftsman Jeweler Dennis Sprague and Chris Roussel collaborated the design for the $3,800 award-winning piece. This is the design team’s fifth win for Roussel’s.

The one-of-a-kind design is a pink tourmaline accented with yellow diamonds and brilliant whites. The award-winning piece will be featured in New York at the 2005 Jewelry Show, where it will compete with 49 other one-of-a-kind pieces. The piece of jewelry will be on display at Roussel’s during the holiday season.
