Tigers hold South Lafourche Tarpons to one yard total passing yardage
GALLIANO – Hahnville held the South Lafourche Tarpons to one yard of total passing yards in a sloppy, heavily defensive game Friday, ending in a Tiger 21-7 victory.
Terrance Isaac accounted for two-thirds of the Tiger offense, turning in two touchdowns, one a 3-yard run in the first quarter and the other a 25-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Isaac accounted for 32 carries and 149 yards in a game where Hahnville’s total offensive yardage added up to 201 yards and rushing yards totaled 154 yards.
The other Hahnville touchdown came in the third quarter with a kickoff return by Brian Singleton.
All three PAT kicks were successfully booted by Drew LeBlanc.
The touchdown for South Lafourche cam in the third quarte on a run by Ryan Petrie.
Hahnville fumbled five times, losing one, while South Lafourche fumbled four times and lost twice. There were no interceptions, with HHS completing four of five for 154 yards.South Lafourche managed 40 carries for 139 yards.
