HAHNVILLE – An investigation into the sale and distribution of steroids resulted in the recent arrests of five St. Charles Parish residents and the recovery of drugs and weapons worth $9,000, reported St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne.

“A tip was received that local residents were involved in the distribution of steroids. That tip led to an investigation,” said Public Information Officer Capt. Patrick Yoes.

Yoes said the investigation took place over the last few weeks and information is guarded because the investigation is ongoing.
