Fugitive caught in Luling kidnapping case

LULING- Dwan L. Storks, 26, of 206 Adams Street in Killona, was arrested on a warrant that was issued on November 16, for aggravated kidnapping, armed robbery, sexual battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
On November 12, Storks forced a 33-year-old Luling woman into his vehicle. Once in the vehicle, Storks struck the victim on the head with a gun and assaulted her. After driving around the Luling area, Storks brought the victim back to her residence where he then took her computer and cash.
Storks was arrested by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Office and the citizens of St. Charles Parish.
Storks is being held at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center on a $700,000 bond set by Judge Granier.
