GARYVILLE-Rosetta Lear Trosclair, 65 of Garyville, at 10:00 a.m. Sept 11. 2006. She was the wife of O.J, Trosclair, Jr and mother and mother-in-law to Kim and Perry Scioneaux, Darren and Wanda Trosclair and Randy and Jaime Trosclair.

She was the sister of Sylvia Hidalgo, Ellarine Stams and Loretta Bonfiglio.

She is preceded in death by siblings Onezime and Jimmie Lear and granddaughter Bryn Scioneaux, and parents James and Lillian Lear.

She is survived by grandchildren Marty, John and Tiffany Trosclair, P.J. and Megan Scioneaux, and Joel Mancuso and great granddaughter Haley Rose Scioneaux.

Loupe

DES ALLEMANDS- Kirk Andrew Loupe,49, of Des Allemands, Sept 11, 2006 in Luling. He was the son of Donald Andrew Loupe and Jacqueline Candies Loupe and companion of Sandra LeGrande.

He is survived by his children Clint Octave Loupe, Jacob Andrew Loupe and Brandi Louise Loupe and sister and brother in law Melanie and Chris Triche.

Also survived by daughter in law Tabitha Matthews and niece, Caitlin Triche.

Services were held Sept. 14, 2006 at 11 a.m. in St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands.

Martin

LAPLACE-SSG Earnest Martin, 66, of LaPlace on Thursday Sept. 7, 2006. He was proudly served his country in the Army for 32 years and was the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy Martin and husband of Betty Martin.

He is survived by his children, Misty Martin, Regina Day, Dianishion Porter and sons and siblings Mary Ann, Maxine, Larry, Ricky and Wayne Martin.

Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Services were held Sept. 13, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Rising Star Baptist Chruch in LaPlace and buried at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary.

Oubre

LUTCHER-Pershing Joseph Oubre Jr., 63, of Lutcher on Sept 6. 2006. Previously of Gretna he moved to Lutcher after Katrina. He was the husband of Joan Hymel Oubre and brother of Rosemary Robin (Perry Sr.) and Linda Freire and (Lloyd)

He is survived by mother-in-law Connie Miller of Lutcher and sister-in-law Elizabeth Louque of Reserve and brother in law Leslie Hymel of Georgia/

He is preceded in death by parents Pershing Joseph Oubre Sr. and Rose Mary Ruffino Oubre, son Dax Joseph Oubre, sister in law Kay Hanlon McArthur and Paul Hymel of Lutcher.

Services and viewing were held Sept. 14, 2006 at Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher.

Roussell

CONVENT-Iris Accardo Roussel, 63, of Convent on Sept. 11, 2006. She was the former wife of Marvin Roussell Sr., and is survived be he and their five daughters and their spouses; Lona (Sidney) Dunn Jr., Christine and Terry Zeller, Marilyn and Keith Louviere, Bonny (Ellis) Hymel Jr., and Patricia (Hayward) Landry Jr.,

Also survived by two brother Jules and Joseph Accardo, 17 grandchildren two great-grandchildren andn devoted friend Keith Bourgeois.

She is preceded in death by parents Pasqual Accardo and Una Arcenaux Accardo son Marvin M. Roussel Jr., brother Lynn Accardo, and sister, Patricia Lambert.

Services were held Sept 13, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

Turner

LULING-Rev. Eugene Turner, 68, of Luling at Canon Hospice in Jefferson Sept. 7, 2006. He was the son of the late Caroline Hadley and Richard Turner and father to Ricky Turner, Kevin Markey, Brigitte Williams, Kim Butler, Lisa Scott and Leslie Markey.

He is survived by sisters Ethel Borne, Mildred Stokes Bernice Champagne, Wilhelmina Simmons, Bessie White, and Geneva Dorsey and brothers Louis Sr., Allen Sr., and Lee Turner.

Also survived by 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by sisters Hazel Jackson and Leona Daniels and grandchildren Roluan Turner and Rashaad Williams.

He was pastor at Bell Baptist Church in Luling.

Services were held at Bell Baptist Church on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.

BATON ROUGE-Edgar Ed” James Zeringue, a naitve Destrhan and resident of Baton Rouge on Sept.9, 2006. He was the son of Frank Edgar and Elizabeth Elma Hymel Zeringue.

He is survived by wife Josie &#8220Beebe Marino Zeringue and father of Daphne Baxter Janel Broe, Edgar III and Steven Zeringue.

Also survived by brother Bryan Zeringue (Joan) of Norco ztep-daughters Tosanna Moore and Tianya Spiewak and one step-son Sterling Lopez,

He is preceded in death by stepson Stanley Lopez.
