LUTCHER – Lorraine S. &#8220Len” Fountain, 93, a native of Lutcher, died July 25.

She was the wife of the late Carl &#8220Bud” Fountain, Sr.

She is survived by children Carl Fountain, Jr., and Marlene Gomes.

She is also survived by three grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Henry and Letitia St. Pierre.

She was also preceded in death by siblings Raleigh, Burley, and Andre St. Pierre.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. July 29 at Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher with entombment in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.

GARDNER

GRAMERCY – Joyce &#8220Tiny” Batiste Gardner, 48, a native and resident of Gramercy, died July 20. She was the wife of Michael Gardner.

She is survived by mother Dorothy Batiste and children Myron Michael and Kyron Anthony Gardner.

She is also survived by siblings Delores Chandler, Annette Houston, Brenda Placide, Lionel Jones, Bernard, Donald and Dale Batiste.

She was preceded in death by father Walsh Batiste.

Services were held July 27 at The Greater Grove B.C. with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina.

MARCEL

DES ALLEMANDS – Francis J. Marcel, 72, a native of Houma and resident of Des Allemands, died July 25. He was the husband of Mary Schaubhut Marcel.

He is survived by father Oliver Marcel and children Paul, Corey, and Lana Marcel and Darren, Troy and Ray Gaubert.

He is also survived by siblings Roy and Junius Marcel and Jeanette Babin.

He was also preceded in death by mother Lucille Marcel.

He was preceded in death by son Brian Gaubert.

Services were held July 28 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands with interment in the cemetery.
