Anna Christine Rogers Bordelon, 65, died Monday, November 26, 2007. The LaPlace resident is survived by husband of 43 years, James “Jim” Bordelon; daughters; Missy Loupe and Melanie Passman; son, James Bordleon III; sister, Velma Boyd; brothers, Vearl Dean Rogers, Wilburn Rogers, Garland Rogers, Hubert Rogers, and Roy Rogers. Also survived by four granddaughters. Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Geneva Rogers; brothers, Marshall and Arland Rogers.
Visitation was held Thursday Nov. 29, 2007. Religious services were at Reserve Christian Church. Burial followed in Drakestand Cemetery, Sallisaw Oklahoma.
Fisher
Sylvia Marie Fisher, 78, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007. The Destrehan resident is survived by husband, Michael C. Fisher; sons, Dennis M. Fisher, Patrick W. Fisher and James A. Fisher; sister, Susan Lucich. Also survived by six grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Julius Jacob Sr. and Aranka Dolnics Jacob; brothers, Julius Jacob Jr., Steve Jacob and Carl Jacob; sisters, Margaret Menard, Isabelle Brady and Irene Jacob.
Visitation will be held at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Destrehan at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007. Entombment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.
Jones
Edna Joseph Jones, 93, died Sunday, November 25, 2007.
Survived by daughters, Maggie Lee Morris, Audrey Johnson and Leona Joseph; sons, Lawrence Johnson and Melvin Jones. Also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Moses Jones; parents, Florent and Louis Francois Joseph; son, Andrew Joseph; daughter, Barbara Joseph.
Visitation was Friday, November 30, 2007 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Paulina, La. Religious services conducted by Rev. Elmo Lee. Internment at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Paulina, La.
Williams
Catherine Favorite “T-Bag” Williams, 45, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. The Lutcher resident is survived by bother, Herbert Favorite, Jr.; sister, Aubrey Jackson. Preceded in death by mother, Augustine Favorite; brother, Alton Lewis.
Visitation and religious services were held at King Solomon Baptist Church, Lutcher, La. Tuesday, Dec. 4 2007. Interment followed in Golden Wreath Cemetery Lutcher, La.
