Casey Robottom officially began his football career at Tulane in 2007 after red shirting as a freshman, and looks to be one of the Green Wave’s most promising receivers.
This season, Robottom has caught 11 passes for 182 yards in getting his feet wet with the Wave. His debut with the team showed what the sure handed receiver is capable of, when he caught four passes for 115 yards against Houston on September 15.
It all started for Robottom at St. Charles Catholic, where he was a standout to say the least. As a senior in 2005, he earned all-state, all-Metro, and all-district honors as Coach Frank Monica utilized him in a variety of ways. Robottom ran the football (217 yards rushing with 3 touchdowns), was a dangerous receiver (40 catches for 623 yards and five touchdowns) and totaled over 1000 yards on returns and with three touchdowns. Robottom wasn’t limited to offense, as he was an accomplished defensive player as well for St. Charles while helping the Comets to the 2A state championship game in his senior season.
