Ivan Kenneth &#8220Paw Paw” Johnson, a native and resident of Garyville, died Friday, June 1, 2007.

He was the father of Kenneth Anderson and Ivanika and Trey Johnson; son of the late Albert Sr. and Selina Johnson; brother of Lionel, Albert Jr., Elston, Eric, Michael, Harold, Gregory, Selina, Glenda and Annette Johnson and the late Clarence, Alvin, Larry, Roland, Arthur, Donald, Marion and Daphne Johnson.

He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 9 a.m. at True Light Baptist Church in Garyville, followed by services at 11 a.m. and interment at Zion Traveler’s Cemetery in Reserve.

Joseph

Andrew &#8220Meat” Joseph Jr., 56, a native of Reserve and resident of LaPlace, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007.

He was the husband of Jacqueline Patterson Joseph; the father of Quorey and Nicole Joseph, Andrew and Anisha Anderson and LaTina J. Nelson; son of Andrew Sr. &#8220Pluck” and Leola &#8220Dora” Joseph; and brother of Billy, Michael and Willie Joseph, Delores Florian, Ernestine Hewitt and Brenda Mitchel.

He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 9 at 9 a.m. at New Pilgrim Baptist Church, 107 Pilgrim Drive, Reserve, followed by services at 11 a.m. and interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Reserve.

Smith

Laura Grace &#8220Bea” Landry Smith, 73, a native of Norco and resident of Reserve, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007.

She was the wife of George Smith Jr.; the mother of Mike and Stewart Smith, Valerie Dufrene, Elizabeth Millet, Kathryn Chaisson, Robin Ridgedell, Maria Guidry and the late Patrick and Robert Smith; the daughter of the late Eno and Grace Baudry Landry; and the sister of Florette Ribbey and the late Faye Tregre.

She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, June 8 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
